Mariachi Hoedown
[ Verse 1] (Cattle in the Cane) (Cowbell sound)
Misses Priscilla, EmmyLou and Muriel Just out lowing in the grass, ruminating.
"Oh Emmy, " said Pru, "What a boring life we lead"
“All we do is eat and sleep, I'm contemplating.
Let's bust outta here and have us a bit o' fun."
Muriel was kind of quiet and knew it would be dangerous
You only live once and she sought to be adventurous.
So they chose to jump the fence and go ex plore
(Ch) But the girls (Am) were steathy, so they weren't found out.
They took off their cowbells, and found the best route
They looked at each other with those big brown eyes
The world was their oyster, "We'll just improvise."
[ Verse 2]
They bought first class tickets and took off for the south
Arrived in Tijuana,(Yi Yi Yi), went to the marketplace
Found some serapes and bought big sombreros
And went off a searching for Los caballeros
They heard the boys down there had great big horns
They would stand up on the stage and show all their charms
Then parade around the town in their mariachi bands
They were the biggest and best in all the lands.
(Ch) But the girls were steathy, so they weren't found out.
They followed in the shadows, and found the best route
They looked at each other with those big brown eyes
The world was their oyster, "We'll just improvise."
[Verse 3] Misses Priscilla, EmmyLou and Muriel
Just following the band, gyrating.
Looking around, they were lost in the alleyway
Confused and frightened, feeling anxious any way.
"Oh Pru, " said Muriel, "This is all so enticing "
But I want to go home, I know it's not surprising.
They found a cab that took them back to the border
Made their way back home, no more to wander.
(Ch) The girls were steathy, hopping over that old fence.
They found their cowbells where they left them, and it all made sense
They looked at each other with those big brown eyes
There's no place like home, "the old saying still applies.”

All Grown Up

All Grown Up
[Verse 1]
Misses Emmylou, Priscilla and Muriel
in the back 40 acres just reminiscing
about their happy childhoods with all their friends
who were now getting older, time was a ticking
if we're going to visit, we better get tripping
so they were moved to make plans
and travel to the west
Little Bo was always a trouble maker
felt he was second best
but as he grew up, he filled out
and became an athlete
Then he changed his name to Bodacious
he became a famous bucking bull
His job at the rodeo was always so dangerous
Bridge
he was always a bucker,
he jumped and kicked and turned on a dime
but his spirit and elegance
he just couldnt hide
And he was only havin a really good time
Well, out to his pasture they all went
Bo was giving them the eye
Hadn't seen the girls in many a year
Made them feel uncomforatable and shy.
Well, we all know how this story ends
One by one, they all fall for this guy
A holiday with added dividends.
Bridge again
It was sad when the holiday came to a close
The girls made their way back home again
Content to be grazing in familiar places once more.
But Changes were happening everyday
The girls were feeling very mature
They all checked their calendars
and then they all concurred.
Bridge
One by one the little buckaroos
Came along and could turn on a dime
And their spirit and elegance, they just couldnt hide
They were all just having a really good time.
Now Misses Emmylou, Priscilla and Muriel
in their back 40 just babysitting
their own little ones and some of their hummy friends
who are now getting older, time is a ticking
they grow up fast, this time doesn't last long
And so they were mooved to enjoy it
They knew they belonged.

At The Circus

AT THE CIRCUS
If you surround yourself with clowns,
don’t be surprised
when your life resembles a circus
Well, here we are again
In the back 40 acres
The little ones are growin' up
spittin' image of Bodacious.
But they all have little quirks
That make them... heart breakers.
Emmylous' boy is called Boniface
He has long eyelashes and can charm anyone
He's a handsome guy, always the main attraction.
Boomer is Muriels's pride and joy
He's loud and proud and a lot like his dad
He comes on strong but he's full of compassion
Then there's Bobby, who does things the hard way
Keeps Priscilla on her toes looking out him
he always seems to need the most instruction.
So, one day, in the pasture,
they all saw the trucks roll in
( I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE THINKING, but you're wrong)
But a big tent was erected
Then a whole bunch of people wandered in.
It was the Big Top and inside , a Circus Ring
So the girls decided to take their boys
On a little adventure of their own.
There were silly clowns and acrobats
And there was a trampoline and tight rope act.
Lots of animals and magic shows
And scenes of the absurd
Gleaming with lights and glittering with gold
wondrous surprises for young and old.
Well in they went and while they were looking for seats,
Boomer started to look around
he was off like a shot, To the house of mirrors,
And Muriel just screamed "Slow down."
Little Bobby moseyed over to the center ring
Where a colourful car had appeared
Then a dozen clowns started getting out
Bobby climbed into the car and disappeared.
Ms. Priscilla couldn't hardly control herself
She was frantic looking for all over for him
When Boniface looked up with eyes twice their size,
and saw Bobby on the high wire with a grin.
Now the clowns got into the action
Riding unicycles and juggling
and surrounded the two boys on the floor
While Emmylou and Priscilla were puzzling
How to get Bobby down off that wire.
Muriel corraled Boomer, and went to the acrobats
Who made a pyramid that was tall enough
to get the Bobby off the wire onto the floor mats.
So their day at the circus was an adventure
A world full of astonishing feats.
Gleaming with lights and glittering with gold
wondrous surprises for young and old.
It was the greatest pageant ever yet viewed.
When the circus was host to our little cow brood.
If you surround yourself with clowns,
don’t be surprised when your life resembles a circus
